Privacy Policy

The short version

Raimere is a free, fan-made catalog of Final Fantasy XIV glamours, with a companion in-game plugin. This policy explains what we collect, why, and what you can do about it. We try to collect as little as possible. We do not sell your data and we do not run ads.

Raimere is run by its volunteer maintainers and is not affiliated with or endorsed by Square Enix or Discord. For any privacy question or request, email akos.tattoo.co@gmail.com.

What we collect

We collect the following, and nothing more than we need to run the catalog:

• When you sign in with Discord: we use Discord to sign you in and receive your Discord account ID, your username or display name, your avatar, and your email address. We store your display name and avatar (shown as the credit on looks you submit), your email and an internal account ID (to sign you in and tie your data to your account), the date your account was created, your adult-content preference, and whether you are a moderator.
• Favorites: the looks you save, linked to your account.
• Reports: if you report a look, we store the look, the reason, any details you add, and your account ID when you are signed in. You can also report without an account, in which case no account ID is stored.
• Looks you submit: the title, the Glamourer design code, any credit text you add, tags, whether the look is marked adult, your account as the uploader, and the preview images you capture in game. We store preview images only. We never store, host, or distribute mod files.
• From the plugin: the plugin saves your sign-in session on your own computer, encrypted, so you stay logged in. It sends that session to our server only to act as you, which means saving favorites, filing reports, syncing your adult-content preference, and submitting looks. It does not collect anything else from your computer.
• Basic technical logs: our hosting providers keep standard server logs, such as IP address and request information, to operate and secure the service.

How we use it

• To run the catalog and show who submitted a look.
• To keep your favorites and your adult-content preference in sync between the website and the plugin.
• To review reports, moderate content, and prevent abuse.
• To operate, maintain, and secure the service.

We do not sell your data, share it with advertisers, or use it for advertising.

Who we share it with

We do not sell your data or share it for advertising. We share data only with providers that help us operate Raimere, and only as much as they need to do their job:

• Discord, to sign you in.
• Hosting and infrastructure providers that run the website and store our data on our behalf.

These providers process data only to run the service, not for their own purposes. We may also disclose information if the law requires it, or to handle a valid takedown or safety issue.

Adult content

Adult content is hidden by default. You only see it if you turn it on, and it is intended for adults. Every look carries a required adult-or-not label, and mislabeled content can be reported.

Your choices and rights

• You can change your adult-content preference at any time.
• You can remove favorites, and you can delete looks you submitted.
• You can ask us to delete your account and the data tied to it. Email us and we will take care of it.
• Signing out in the plugin removes the saved session from your computer.

Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights to access, correct, or delete your personal data. Contact us and we will help.

How long we keep it

We keep your data while your account is active and for as long as we need it to run the service. When you ask us to delete your account, we remove your personal data, except anything we must keep for legal or safety reasons. When a look is removed or purged, its preview images are deleted from storage.

Children

Raimere is not intended for children. You must meet the minimum age required by Discord (13, or older where your local law requires) to use it. Adult content is only for users 18 and over.

Security

We protect your data with database access rules, encrypted session tokens in the plugin, and HTTPS everywhere. No online service can be perfectly secure, but we take reasonable steps to protect your information.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy. If we make a meaningful change, we will update the date at the top. Continuing to use Raimere after a change means you accept the updated policy.
